What's New

The Environmental Study Report is now available for a 60 day public review period starting on September 4, 2014.
See "Study Documentation".

Following the presentation of our technically “preferred” alternative at the Public Open House held on October 17, 2013, we received feedback from some property owners expressing concern about the fragmentation of their lands.  We used this feedback to prepare a new route segment in the area of concern.  The proposed route segment (entitled Segment S2-E) reduces property fragmentation by running along property lines, wherever possible, north of High Falls Road, rather than through the previously impacted properties.

This new route segment has been evaluated by the study team, and is now identified as the “preferred” alternative in this area.

At this time, it is anticipated that the Environmental Study Report (ESR) will be available for public review by late spring.  Notification of the Filing of the ESR will occur at that time by letter (to those on our mailing list), as well as being published in local newspapers and on this website.
